Real Oviedo and Tenerife drew a draw this Friday in the opening match of matchday 31 of LaLiga SmartBank held at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium, after a watered-down game with hardly any chances that helped neither one nor the other to definitively get away from the relegation positions.
Although Álvaro Cervera’s team tried to take the initiative in the game in the first half, even having the best chance of the game with a point-blank shot from Borja Bastón, who was the best of the locals, the forces equalized again in the second to culminate with a tie that unleashed the whistles of the Carbayona fans.
With a victory in eight games, the Asturian team occupies the seventeenth position, seven points from relegation, while Luis Miguel Ramis’s men have not improved in numbers either after chaining three games without knowing victory, nine points above the red zone.
