MADRID, March 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Athletic Club footballer Iñigo Lekue suffers a “serious” muscle injury in the rectum of his right leg, which will keep him out for nearly two months, the Basque club confirmed this Saturday.
“Iñigo Lekue suffers from a severe muscle injury at the proximal myotendinous junction of the right rectus femoris muscle. His rehabilitation-readaptation work has already begun,” the Bilbao entity reported in a brief statement.
The winger was injured last Sunday in the goalless draw against Rayo in Vallecas; he had to leave the field of play in the 77th minute, being replaced by Óscar de Marcos.
