It explains its costs and speed due to the use of its own equipment and its cement factory
BARCELONA, March 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of Limak Holding, Ebru Özdemir, has assured that the company will continue in Spain after the remodeling works of the Spotify Camp Nou and that she does not rule out buying Spanish companies in the future.
The directive has ensured that the works in the FC Barcelona stadium have opened a door for them and has pointed out the will to reach agreements with Spanish companies, in advance of an interview granted to ‘El Periódico’ and which will be published next Sunday.
Özdemir has assured that the company has been analyzing the engineering sector in Spain in search of buying opportunities to grow, although up to now it has not found them.
He recalled that the company already has around forty employees in Spain and that the goal is to reach 150 in management and control positions, and a total of 200 employees in 2026.
Regarding the Camp Nou works, he has assured that his company and FC Barcelona had no relationship prior to the award and has denied the possibility that governments have intervened.
He has ensured that FC Barcelona “will return to the Camp Nou in November 2024” to celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary, although with 50 percent capacity.
He explained that the company can offer “highly competitive” costs and flexibility thanks to the use of its own equipment, the contribution of materials and that the company has a cement factory that it owns.
He has indicated that he does not believe that “there will be any delay in the financing” of the works, which the club must close before March 31 through three bond issues of 500 million euros each and maturing in 2032, 2045 and 2052, respectively.
