The PSV Eindhoven fan who jumped onto the pitch at Philips Stadion to attack Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 has been sentenced to three months in jail, a Dutch judge ruled on Wednesday .
In addition, this 20-year-old fan will also be prohibited from approaching the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven for the next two years. The convicted man, who was drunk at the time of the attack, was already serving a sentence that prohibited him from entering the venue, although he has not revealed how he entered the stadium. He has been fired from his job and expelled from the PSV supporters club to which he belonged.
The youngster ran onto the pitch late in the game and hit Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic in the back before attempting to punch him in the face.
