LaLiga has sent this Thursday to the Investigating Courts of Seville a complaint for racist insults against Real Madrid striker Vinicius Júnior in the match between the merengue team and Real Betis on matchday 24 of the First Division, according to a statement.
“Given the racist insults made in the Real Betis-Real Madrid match last Sunday, March 5, against the player Vinicius Júnior, LaLiga has sent a complaint to the Investigating Courts of Seville in order to identify the person responsible. and so that the appropriate legal measures can be taken,” advanced the employers’ association.
After the one referred to what happened in the match between the Verdiblancos and the Merengues, LaLiga has already made seven complaints regarding racist insults against Vinicius Júnior before the corresponding authorities, according to the organization.
In addition, to speed up the identification of the person responsible, the employer has set up a complaints channel on its website, in which “fans who may have images or some indication of the identity” of those who uttered said insults “can contact with LaLiga and facilitate the necessary identification to file the pertinent complaints”.
