Cádiz will not be able to count on a key player for the remainder of the season such as Uruguayan striker Brian Ocampo who will finally have to undergo surgery after being diagnosed with a knee injury in which he had been suffering from discomfort that had prevented him from playing in recent games.
The player from Cadiz had not been able to participate in the duels against Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad of LaLiga Santander due to pain in his right knee and the club decided to submit him “in the last few hours to additional tests” to verify the severity of the ailment.
“The final diagnosis includes an anterior cruciate ligament injury and moderate bone edema in the external femoral condyle and tibial plateau of the right knee. The player will have to undergo arthroscopy in the next few hours for a ligamentoplasty, causing him to leave until the end of season”, Cádiz reported this Wednesday, which loses an offensive footballer that coach Sergio González was counting on in his fight to achieve permanence.
