Sporting de Portugal and Anderlecht will open the Final Four at the Velòdrom Illes Balears

Mallorca Palma Futsal will play on May 5 (9:00 p.m.) against SL Benfica in the semifinals of the Champions League, as a climax to the opening of the Final Four that Palma is precisely the venue for this season’s edition.

Benfica, champion of the maximum continental club competition in 2010, will be the rival of the Mallorcans after the draw held this Wednesday at the Hotel Aubamar Suites & Spa. The other semifinal duel will measure Sporting de Portugal with Anderlecht (May 5 at 6:00 p.m.).

The draw included Lionel Scaloni, Argentina coach and champion of the last World Cup in Qatar, as the innocent hand of a draw that moved from the usual UEFA headquarters in Nyon to Playa de Palma as an appetizer for the event that Mallorca will host within one month.

Palma Futsal will challenge the best clubs in Europe in its debut in this competition, with the aim of reaching the final in front of its audience at the Velòdrom Illes Balears, which is preparing for the big event and which will have a capacity of 5,200 viewers.
