BARCELONA, March 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The temporary museum of FC Barcelona, which will be located in the Palau de Gel (next to the Palau Blaugrana) while the work on the Spotify Camp Nou lasts, will open its doors next June and will occupy this space until the start of the 2024 season /25, when the new fixed museum is scheduled to be inaugurated within the new Blaugrana fiefdom.
“FC Barcelona already has a date for the inauguration of the temporary Museum. The club is in full renovation of the Palau de Gel building, located next to the Palau Blaugrana, where this temporary space will be located, which is scheduled to open in the first week of June”, announced the entity.
As of Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the doors of the new temporary museum, also called Barça Immersive Tour, are scheduled to open, which will be in use until the new one of the future Spotify Camp Nou is inaugurated, in the 2024/25 season.
The new temporary museum will have approximately 2,400 m2 and will be divided into different areas to create a better experience for the visitor. This space was created with the purpose of temporarily replacing the current Stadium Tour & Museum since the works in the Spotify Camp Nou will begin this month of June 2023 and the return to the Stadium is scheduled for November 2024, before the 125th anniversary of the Club ( November 29, 2024).
The new museum project is being developed jointly with Mediapro Exhibitions, the MEDIAPRO GROUP division specializing in the creation and development of exhibition and museographic projects, and which already carried out the renovation of the current Museum in 2010.
