Juvenil A of Real Madrid was proclaimed champion of the Copa del Rey this Saturday after beating Almería (2-1) after a great game by the team led by Álvaro Arbeloa, who won the title for the 15th time thanks to goals from Pol Fortuny and Manuel Ángel in the final played at the Reino de León stadium.
The Madrid academy revalidated the cup title with a hard-fought victory that also keeps them undefeated this season. Fortuny signed the first goal for the Whites with a header on 8′ minute and, nine minutes later, Manuel Ángel increased the lead with a great goal for the squad from the front.
The white captain hunted down a corner kick and placed a powerful shot with his left foot in the corner of the goal. Although Rachad narrowed the gap for the Andalusian team at minute 70, the individual quality of Arbeloa’s team ended up prevailing to close a victory they suffered in the closing stages.
